The Tubaphone is Pisgah’s tribute to the banjo that dates back to the early part of the 20th century. The Tubaphone tone ring, so named because it is a cast, hollow tube, produces a clear, ringing tone with lots of projection. This banjo has the standard 26 1/4” string scale. This banjo has a Richlite fretboard with a frailing scoop, a must-have feature for modern clawhammer players. The neck and shell are maple with a dark finish which, when combined with the aged brass hardware keeps the glitter to a minimum.
