Details
We ordered this Pisgah Rambler with the short 23 1/2" A-scale fingerboard, which is tuned up to open A instead of the standard G tuning. This makes it easy to play fiddle tunes in A, a very common key. The shorter string scale also makes it a great banjo for players who have smaller hands and find it difficult to reach the frets on standard banjos. This banjo has the stainless steel spunover rim and aged brass hardware, giving it a nice, vintage look. It has a walnut neck and a Richlite fingerboard with a frailing scoop. It’s fitted with a removable 12” Dobson tone ring which can be removed if you want a more plunky tone. Includes a padded gig bag.
