Details
Nope, we didn't reverse the photos, this is a left-handed 5-string banjo and not an easy instrument to find, especially in this price range. The scalloped "Whyte Laydie" tone ring, a design dating to the 1890s, combined with the scooped fretboard, allows the player to get a wide range of tones from mellow to, well, the sound of a more typical banjo. Judging by the clean head, this hasn't seen much use and there are only faint hints of fret wear and a couple light scratches to the back of the neck. Spikes on the 7th, 9th, and 10th frets under the 5th string allow you to use a capo without re-tuning that string. Comes with a gig bag.
