Details
This Deering Boston guitar banjo was made in 2002 in California. It’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. This has not been played much and there is very little fret wear. The Boston is crafted with a one-piece steel shell functions like a great big tone ring and the resonator projects that tone forward like a speaker. If you wanted the more plunky open-back banjo tone the resonator flange sections could be removed and the resonator left off. This is reversible and wouldn't require taking the whole banjo apart, btw. Guitar banjos have a cool, funky tone that works well for early jazz, ragtime and blues. Comes with its original hardshell case.
