Details
When Sam Kamaka started the company that bears his name in 1916, pretty much all he made were soprano ukuleles, which set the template for all the Hawaiian builders who followed in his footsteps.. Over the next century he, and his descendents, refined the design until it has become one of the finest ukuleles out there. The HF-1, the latest iteration of that classic design. The top, back and sides are solid Hawaiian koa and they have thin satin-sheen finish. This shows the koa grain and color to advantage and is yet another example of how the Kamaka crew keeps raising the bar and making their ukuleles even better. This ukulele is fitted with Gotoh UPT geared tuning pegs, so it’s easy to get in tune. And how does it sound? As sweet and mellow as a tropical breeze. Includes a Kamaka hardshell case.
