Details
This Taylor 114ce is one of Gryphon’s most popular guitars and offers a lot of bang for the buck. This guitar has Taylor’s Grand Auditorium body shape and a Venetian cutaway that allows easy access to the fretboard's upper register. By keeping the appearance plain, and less expensive to build, Taylor is able to focus on the important stuff like playability and tone. Each model has the fast, slender neck that has earned Taylor a reputation for making some of the most playable guitars out there. They all have solid torrefied Sitka spruce tops, layered sapele back and sides, and ebony fretboards. The acoustic-electric versions are fitted with Taylor’s own ES2 pickup system. The 100 Series come in Grand Concert, Auditorium and Dreadnought body shapes.
