Details
The thin hollowbody electric just doesn't get any better-looking than a sunburst Collings I35 LC, from any angle, a testament to the late Bill Collings' well-honed design sense. This one plays and sounds on a par with its classic appearance, thanks to typical flawless Collings fretwork and Lollar "low wind" humbuckers. Although the frets have almost zero wear, we're guessing the owner had a really light touch because this has been played. Along with some finger and pick scuffs to the pickguard, there are a few light lines around the knobs and a few shallow dings to the lacquer on the back. For some of us, this is an ideal amount of wear because you're not pestered by someone else's obvious mistakes, yet you can relax and enjoy the instrument without worry about putting the first mark on it!
