Martin’s Grand Performance body shape is a relatively new addition to the line and it fills a size gap between the OM and the Dreadnought. It has a well-balanced bass to treble response of the OM combined with much of the volume and projection of the Dreadnought. This version of the GP-13E features a full-body gloss finish, a solid Sitka spruce top and ziricote fine veneer back and sides. Ziricote is a Central American tonewood that has dramatic figure and color variation. The back and sides are layered, with a khaya, or African mahogany, core sandwiched between outer veneers of ziricote. The neck features Martin’s Performing Artist neck shape with High-Performance Taper for easy playability; a hand-rubbed neck finish; and an FSC® Certified Richlite® fingerboard and bridge. It has Fishman MX-T electronics with a built-in soundhole tuner that auto mutes the audio output so you can tune up any time without using a pedal. This guitar comes with a Premium Soft Shell Case.
