Details
Following the release of their stand-alone Reverb unit in 1961, Fender introduced the Vibroverb in 1963, which was the first Fender amp to incorporate their reverb circuit in a combo amplifier.
THe 2-letter code dates this example to June of 1964, and the original transformer dates support that. This is a very clean and original example that sports the JBL D130F 15" speaker.
It's hard to talk about the Fender Vibroverb without mentioning Stevie Ray Vaughan, who famously used a pair of 1964 Vibroverb amps. This amps sounds big and lush, with enormous headroom. It's ready for a big stage!
The amp is in very clean cosmetic condition, and includes a modern black Fender cover. The amp comes with a new Fender 2-Button RCA footswitch (The original footswitch is included, but is not functioning)
