This Carr Raleigh was built in 2012 and it’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. This has a wine red Tolex covering with maple accent panels, for an elegant look. The Raleigh is a small yet versatile amp designed to deliver both clean and heavily overdriven tones for studio use or in a practice setting. It pushes out 3 watts into a 10-inch speaker, and while that doesn't look like much on paper, this amp is surprisingly loud. It only has 3 knobs-volume, master volume and tone- and a clean/overdrive switch but with some judicious tweaking you go from clean, glassy ’60s American blackface tones to juicy, sustaining Brit-voiced overdrive. The Raleigh has a single EL84 power tube in a pure Class-A output stage, driven by two 12AX7 preamp tubes in the front end. Includes a padded cover.
