The Taylor Academy 12e has a Grand Concert body, a 24-7/8-inch scale length, a narrower 1-11/16-inch nut width, and it’s voiced for light gauge strings, all of which make this guitar easy on your fretting fingers. This guitar responds well to light touch, making it a great choice for fingerpicking. The Academy 12e has a solid Sitka spruce top, layered sapele back and sides, and, this is really cool, a built-in armrest that softens the edge of the body’s bass-side lower bout to enhance the playing comfort. This guitar features a factory installed ES-B pickup, which includes side-mounted a built-in digital chromatic tuner with an LED display for tuning and low battery indication. Includes a padded gig bag.
