Details
This 818e was crafted in 2022 in Taylor’s El Cajon factory. It’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition with just a slight hint of fret wear. It features Taylor’s largest body style, the Grand Orchestra, but its silhouette makes it surprisingly comfortable to play sitting down. It’s made from Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce which produces a warm, balanced tone. This guitar is loud, as you would expect from a big guitar like this, but it also responds well to a light touch. There aren’t many guitars out there that work equally well for hard strumming and light fingerpicking, but the 818e is one of them. The 818e has a subtle Antique Blonde top finish, Mission inlays in mother-of-pearl and abalone, and a paua shell single-ring rosette. It includes ES2 electronics and a deluxe hardshell case with a Western Floral pattern, which is equally clean.
