The Rick Turner Model 1 Featherweight is crafted with a chambered cedar body and, on this example, a thin mahogany top and back. This gives the guitar the look of the classic Linsdey Buckingham model without the weight. The neck is a five-piece laminate of maple and purpleheart. It has the full "C" package of electronics which includes the rotating Hot Humbucker pickup with push/pull coil cut, D-TAR Eclipse Preamp, Rick Turner parametric EQ and the piezo bridge with blending electronics. The Model 1 is a remarkably versatile guitar and capable of producing a wide range of tones.
