Details
This Beard Deco Phonic Model 47 Squareneck was made in 2021 and it’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. It was made in Beard’s Maryland workshop by the small crew that makes Beard’s fancy guitars. The Deco Phonic series is inspired by the resonator guitars that were made in Chicago in the 1930s by Regal and it offers a blend of vintage styling and modern functionality. This Model 47 is a bit unusual in that it has a National-style cone with a biscuit bridge rather than a cone with an aluminum spider, which is far more common on squarenecks. Consequently, this guitar has a brighter, rawer tone than you usually find on a squareneck. The original hardshell case is in equally clean condition.
