Details
The Rosewood Concert Jumbo was probably Goodall's best-selling model around the time this one was made, and after a few minutes playing it you'll know why. While it responds to a light touch you can really lean into it without running out of headroom and the treble clarity is remarkable for a guitar with this kind of bass response. There isn't a lot of bling, but the abalone soundhole rosette and curly koa binding are nice touches your eye will appreciate. This hasn't seen much use, judging by the lack of significant fret wear, but there are some dings to the top and light signs of surface wear from use. The professional repair to a short top crack (down where the dings are found) has made that crack almost impossible to detect.
Maybe almost twenty years of being a guitar under string tension has worked its magic, or maybe this Goodall always sounded this good. Whatever, it sounds great now and that's what counts. Comes with the original hardshell case which has the Goodall badge on the side.
