This Fender Stratocaster Plus was made in 1988, just a year after the model was introduced. So what makes it a Plus? The main thing is the trio of Lace Sensor pickups (this has the early Gold versions)which were designed to reduce 60 cycle hum while still maintaining the classic Strat chime. It also has a roller nut, which eliminates the need for string trees locking tuners. This guitar has what Fender described at the time as Brown Sunburst finish. Although this guitar has been played over the years, it has been well cared for and shows just minor signs of use. The frets are in good shape and have lots of playing left in them. Includes the original ABS plastic case and the original vibrato bar.
