Details
The "B-25 Natural" stamp on the inside back of this old Gibson doesn't tell you what's important, and that is it has the earlier neck width that Gibson would soon change to more narrow specs. Thanks to the original light top bracing, and having it's original molded plastic bridge replaced, this is also a very lively sounding 00-size guitar. Original tuners and pickguard, lots of lacquer crazing to the top which is how you know it's a real mid-60s Gibson finish! Two repaired cracks to the top on treble side lower bout, one a hairline so tight it looks more like a lacquer check. (for those of you not familiar with Gibson's ever-changing model codes, the B-25 was just a 1962 re-naming of the LG-2 model).
