The 314ce is one of our most popular guitars and this new variation, the 314ce Studio SEB simplifies the cosmetics while still maintaining the playability and tone we have come to expect from Taylor. This model doesn’t have binding, opting instead for rounded body edges with black and white top edge trim. This version has a Shaded Edgeburst (SEB) finish on the top, which adds a touch of subtle flashiness.
Other features that make the Studio different from the standard 314ce include a full-body gloss finish, a torrefied Sitka spruce top and a 1 11/16” nut width. This guitar features the Grand Auditorium body design, which is Taylor’s most popular size. The depth of the guitar is equal to a dreadnought, but the waist and bouts are pinched in tighter which makes for a very comfortable guitar. The 314ce Studio is fitted with Taylor’s own ES2 pickup and includes a well-padded gig bag.
