Details
In honor of their 50th year in business, Taylor is introducing a series of Limited Edition models. The 50th Anniversary Builder’s Edition 314ce LTD is crafted with a Sitka spruce top and solid Urban Ash back and sides, a tonewood combination that produces a strong midrange with a warm but focused low end with well-balanced trebles and mids. It also has a beveled armrest, which greatly increases the playing comfort of your strumming arm. Perhaps our favorite feature is the sculpted cutaway, which makes playing in the upper registers a breeze. It’s not only functional, it’s an elegant, and complex, feat of woodworking.
Other refinements include a subtle adjustment in the taper of the body, chamfered edges, and Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold, which offer a highly precise 21:1 gear ratio. The body is finished with a Kona burst with a Silent Satin sheen. Like other 50th Anniversary Collection guitars, this versatile cutaway Grand Auditorium features a commemorative label inside, ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots. It comes with ES2 electronics and ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
