Taylor stepped outside their usual appointments for this model, made in 1994 to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary. The wood oak leaves inlay pattern on the fingerboard is echoed in the engraved pattern on the rosette, a nice touch. This model was issued without the usual Taylor pickguard, but of course a 'guard could easily be added if you prefer. The beautiful even-grained Engelmann spruce top gives a warmer tone than you expect from a mahogany Dreadnought. This has been played, although carefully, so there's some light fret wear and also light finger scuffs to the top where a pickguard would be. No cracks, damage, or changes of any kind, has been fitted with an ES2 pickup system.
