This Benedetto Andy Elite was built in 2016 and it’s in excellent cosmetic and structural condition. It has a 12″ lower bout and 23″ scale. Although the small size and short scale limits the acoustic bass response, it has amazing balance and chord-melody response up and down the neck. And when plugged in, the floating mini humbucker makes those small guitar tonal limitations disappear. This guitar was a custom order and it has a carved, solid mahogany back rather than the standard maple, which adds a bit of mellowness to the tone. It is fitted with Benedetto’s own carved ebony cello style tailpiece and an ebony fingerrest. This guitar is hands-down the winner of the "Less is More" competition, but this Benedetto brings hand-carved archtop clarity to the small guitar category.
