This Gibson Les Paul Special was made in 2002 and it’s in excellent, lightly played condition. It has some very minor fret wear. The finish is in fine shape with a few very minor scuffs that are so light they don’t show in our photographs. It’s fitted with a pair of P-100 pickups, the stacked coil, humbucking version of the P-90. When Gibson made this guitar in 2002 it was listed in the catalog with the rather confusing name of Les Paul Junior Special. Juniors, of course, had one pickup and Specials had two. Gibson soon dropped the Junior part of the name and we opted to follow suit and shorten it to Les Paul Special. Includes an after market hardshell case in equally good condition.
