Details
Bart Reiter's Regent model was one of our favorites, as it delivered that Whyte Laydie tone ring sound at a lower price than his Whyte Laydie model. (The only difference was the time-consuming engraved inlays on the neck.)
This example is in excellent and completely original condition, despite being 29 years old. There's some light surface wear to the rosewood cap on the bottom of the rim, and a few nicks to the finish on the barrel of neck. Fret wear is very light. A great example of why Gryphon still mourns Bart Reiter's decision to retire from making banjos, although he certainly earned the rest.
