This Vega White Oak was built by Deering in 2023. It’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition with just a hint of fret wear. We've often wondered why more American guitar and banjo makers don't use white oak, as it's a great domestic hardwood that makes a stiff and sturdy neck. Deering also uses white oak for the shell of this banjo, with wood this hard the tapered top edge makes a metal tone ring unnecessary and the result is a nice woody tone. Includes the original hardshell case in equally clean condition.
