The Martin BC-16E acoustic-electric bass has a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, a classic tonewood combo that produces a rich, round tone with a strong bass response and focused mids and trebles. This Instrument is a great choice for a musician that wants the flexibility to practice or compose on an unplugged bass but also wants the option to plug it in for recording or live gigs. The neck is select hardwood with an ebony fingerboard and a slim carve that’s a dream to play. It’s fitted with a Fishman Matrix VT Enhance Pickup system. Includes a well padded soft shell case.
