Details
This Fender Musicmaster was made in 1961 and it’s in excellent cosmetic condition. The model was introduced in 1956 as a student guitar and as such it had a short 22.5” scale length and a narrow 1.5” nut width. This example is all original and is dated 10-61 in pencil on the neck. The pots are dated to the 21st week of 1961. The sunburnt finish on the offset body in a fine shape and has a light amount of crazing. The maple neck has a slab rosewood fingerboard and the frets show a little wear. This guitar comes with its original hardshell case that is in equally clean condition although a previous owner has added a fanciful version of the Fender logo to the lid, complete with little spiderwebs.
