The T5Z Pro is the newly redesigned version of Taylor’s popular electric-acoustic hybrid guitar. The body is built from lightweight Urban Ash with a figured Big Leaf maple top. (We ordered this one with a striking Harbor Blue finish.) This model has contoured edges and an integrated armrest on the upper body edge, making it a very comfortable guitar to play. Like the other models in the T5z series, the Pro is equipped with three-pickups: an acoustic body sensor; a concealed neck humbucker; and humbucker next to the bridge.The five-way switching and onboard tone controls enable players to flick from warm jazz to vintage blues to heavy distortion in an instant. The controls, which include volume, bass and treble, have been moved to the treble side of the lower bout, the standard position on most electric guitars Includes a Taylor Hardshell case.
