Details
The Pisgah Woodchuck sports a walnut neck and 12-inch Ash shell with a simple rolled brass tone ring. This has the shorter 25.5-inch string scale, which, when combined with the large head, produces a sweet expressive tone. It sounds great as a solo banjo or paired with a guitar. The Pisgah Woodchuck is one of Gryphon's most popular contemporary open-back banjos, and it's easy to hear, as well as see, why that's true.
