Details
The Eastman MD315 is an excellent value in an F-5 style mandolin. It has a solid, hand carved spruce top with a solid, hand carved maple back and sold maple sides. It has ivoroid top binding, a bone nut and an adjustable ebony bridge. It has the percussive bark that bluegrass demands when you dig hard, but if you back off a bit, it works well for Celtic styles, old-time string band music, jazz and just about any style you can think of. Includes a well padded gig bag.
