This Collings MF Deluxe was crafted in 2017 and it’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. It has an Adirondack spruce top and nicely figured maple back and sides. It has a gloss top and fretboard and headstock are bound in ivoroid. As with all of the instruments Collings makes, the craftsmanship on this MF Deluxe is meticulous. The sunburst has a rich color that, even in the darker portions, is translucent enough to show the maple's dramatic figure. At first glance, this looks like a fairly plain instrument but the closer you get, the more you can see the detail and care that have earned Collings the reputation for crafting some of the finest mandolins being made today. Includes its original hardshell case.
