The I-35 LC is our most popular semi-hollow Collings model but you probably wouldn’t know that because they have all sold almost as soon as they have been listed. Like their other LC models, this Collings I-35 is built using laminated construction techniques. But Collings doesn’t use the process to cut corners. Each LC model's top and back is laminated in-house at the Collings workshop in Austin, and the grain direction and thickness of the layers is the result of much research by the late Bill Collings. This I-35 is fitted with ThroBak SLE-101 MXV Plus PAF Humbuckers. It has nitrocellulose lacquer finish with Tobacco Sunburst. It has a ‘60 neck carve.
