We’re big fans of 12-fret all-mahogany guitars here at Gryphon and this Collings 001 mh is one of our favorites. The shorter scale and smaller body make for a comfortable to hold and play guitar that is perfect for a laid back sofa session or a marathon recording binge. The 12-fret design, which moves the bridge closer to the center of the top, produces a louder, fuller and yet balanced tone than you might expect from a smaller body. The Collings 001 Mh is an appealing modern take on a classic design, and the 1 13/16" neck width and slightly wider string spacing gives the fingers of your left hand just a little more room.
