Details
A lot of the time it takes to build an acoustic guitar, whether at Gibson, Martin, or Taylor, is spent getting that lustrous glossy finish that's as smooth as glass. This almost-new "30s Faded" J-35 is a good example of what you can do if you skip the glossy look altogether. It has the same woods and light top bracing as more expensive Gibson slope-shoulder dreadnoughts and it plays and sounds the same, but because the surface is just sanded and sealed the price is a lot more friendly. This example is nearly new, but hundreds less than a brand new one. Comes with the original brown hardshell with Gibson stencil on the lid.
