This Recording King Madison RK-OT25 was made in 2021 and it’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. The frets show just the slightest amount of wear. This is a well-crafted open back banjo that is an excellent choice for a beginner or intermediate picker looking to get into clawhammer style. It has 2-ply maple shell and a maple neck with an easily accessible adjustable truss rod. The padauk fretboard has a frailng scoop, which lets the player pick further up the neck for a warmer, woodier tone. It’s fitted with a Remo FiberSkyn head, a popular choice for for old-time banjos players. Includes a well padded gig bag in similarly clean condition.
