Details
One of the best-sounding Gibson "AJ" models we've had in recent years, and that includes the more pricey versions made with exotic woods. It's been used, but very little, and has only the smallest ding at the lower edge of the top (would probably be invisible if the finish was natural instead of sunburst). No fret wear.
The "Limited" on the truss rod cover, and the "Limited Edition" on the orange label, is a bit confusing as this doesn't have any special features that jump off the spec sheet. Gibson's new policy on some models like the AJ and J-185, and of course certain Les Paul versions, is to limit the number offered in a particular year (in this case 2018). As far as we can tell, Gibson made a total of 100 of these that year. If you copy and paste the SKU code below into a Google search you'll see the Gibson's published details for this model, which are essentially the 1936 "vintage reissue" specs.
HLAJVSG18
Note that the spruce top on this one is way nicer than Gibson's stock photo of the model!
Includes the original hardshell case which is equally clean.
