Details
This is an excellent "dark-burst" version of what has been Gryphon's favorite Gibson acoustic for many many years. The combination of the slope-shoulder Dreadnought shape, mahogany back & sides, and the short string scale gives these models a tone and playability that's hard to find, especially in this highly affordable price range. And if you want that mid-range rhythm "whomp" or "chunk" you hear driving the beat in lots of classic early rock and roll (think Everly Bros, for instance) these models will deliver it, and in style. This example has been played, there are some light finger & pick scuffs to the 'guard and very minor finish dings here and there. Fret wear is negligible. These Gibson Montana factory models do vary, this one is excellent in both sound and appearance.
