Details
The lovely Magnolia Classic was built by Bryant Trenier, a well-respected builder who used to work in the US but who now lives in the south of France. This 17-inch acoustic archtop is in excellent lightly played condition. The Magnolia was the first model Trenier produced and it was his flagship model. He has since renamed the model the New Yorker. The Magnolia was inspired by the guitars of John D’Angelico and Jimmy D’Aqusito. This example has the simple elegance D’Aquisto’s later work, and like those classic instruments, this beauty has maple binding, simple unbound F-holes and the bridge and tailpiece are ebony. This is a light and responsive guitar that has enough acoustic power to drive a small band but it also sounds great with a lighter touch and works well for chord melody. The original hardshell case is included and it is in equally clean condition.
