A Les Paul Standard with a figured maple top is one of those guitars that we love to look at as much as we want to play. Structurally, this guitar is in excellent condition and thanks to the aged nickel plating and Murphy-aged lacquer finish, this 2009 historic reissue of the '59 Les Paul Standard certainly has the convincing dull gleam of a vintage original that traveled and was used but not abused. It has the slightly chunky 1959 neck profile that feels so good. It’s fitted with a pair of Burstbucker pickups. The COA and bouquet of hang tags, plus all other papers that came with it when new, are in the case.
