Details
This is from the first year Gibson introduced the Les Paul Traditional. Their concept was to offer a version of the classic '59 Les Paul Standard but without all the expensive historically accurate details that in reality can't actually be heard or felt while you're playing the instrument anyway. This means it has a nicely figured maple top and the more beefy (but nicely rounded) '50s neck profile, plus single-ring Kluson tuners, and of course the "Classic Plus" humbucker pickups. This example has almost no fret wear, and except for one ding in the back near the switch cover, there's only light surface wear to the finish. Original black hardshell case is equally clean.
