Details
One of our favorite Huber banjo models, this was ordered from Steve Huber with the optional "speed neck" finish (lacquer removed from neck barrel so your left hand can feel the mahogany). There's light fret wear, this has been played a fair amount, and there are dings in the finish on the back of resonator from buttons and jean rivets, etc. Check photos of the back of the headstock, which was cracked and repaired by our favorite banjo ace Larry Cohea. The long scarf-joint type crack resulted in lots of gluing surface so it is a very stable neck repair. This has the Huber Vintage flathead tone ring.
