Details
This Martin D-35 was built in Nazareth, PA in 2004. It’s in excellent structural and very good cosmetic condition with just a few small and shallow dings and some light fret wear. The pickguard has some minor finger scuffs, a sign that it was doing its job protecting the top. The classic tonewood combination of Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood produces that classic Martin dreadnought tone, with a rich, mellow bass and clear, ringing trebles. Note that this guitar has a nut width of 1 11/16", a little narrower than the current standard of 1 3/4". But this example really shines when you plug it in, as the previous owner went all in and had a Trance Amulet M-V pickup installed. When you try this one in the store, be sure to ask to try it plugged in. The original hardshell case is in equally clean condition.
