Details
We're big fans of Western Red Cedar soundboards on koa body guitars as the cedar warms up the tone, which can be especially helpful for backing vocals. Goodall's Grand Concert models are known for sounding bigger than they are, and this example is no exception and offers lots of headroom for such a relatively small guitar (it's about the size of an OM). The K & K pickup handles those situations where you need to plug in. Despite being over 20 years old this Goodall has only very minor fret wear, and the finish shows almost no playing wear as well. The dark spots around the bridge are apparently from touch-up done to the finish after the bridge was reglued. It's a finish surface issue only, there was no damage to the cedar top itself. Comes with the original hardshell case which is equally clean.
