Details
This ’57 Les Paul Custom is part of the Historic Collection and it was crafted in Gibson’s Custom Shop in 2002. ( A Custom Custom?) It has the classic ebony finish with gold hardware, a look that works whether you’re wearing a tuxedo or a black leather jacket. It’s fitted with a pair of ’57 Classic humbuckers and a Bigsby vibrato, a scarce variation for a model that usually had three pickups. Like the original 1957 model, this guitar has a mahogany body with a mahogany top. Overall, it’s in excellent structural and good cosmetic condition. There are dings here and there, including the back, that don’t show in the photos but you can see them in person. The frets show some but they have lots of life left in them. Includes the COA, hangtags and the original black hardshell case with the gold Historic Collection logo.
