Details
Based on Muddy Water’s “Hoss” Guitar, this 2001 Fender Telecaster is a must have item for any fans of the legendary blues musician. As a man of prodigious talent and fierce showmanship, Muddy needed a guitar that could withstand the rigors of his strenuous touring schedule, and he found it in the form of a 50’s telecaster. Muddy eventually replaced the original finish with a striking coat of Candy Apple Red and swapped out the original neck with one from a Custom 60’s Tele. And finally, he rounded out his modifications by fitting a pair of 60’s era amp knobs to the control plate.
Overall, this instrument is in excellent cosmetic condition. There are a few tiny instances of play wear and some small scratches but it is in otherwise excellent shape. The frets show the faintest signs of wear with no divots or pointy fret ends.
