Details
Here’s a clean Bart Reiter Special from 2000 with no fret wear. Actually, it has no frets whatsoever, and our apologies for the lame joke. Evidently fretless banjo playing didn't exactly fit the previous owner's open-back banjo style, as this shows almost no wear at all, and even fretless banjos usually show some additional finger-polishing on the fingerboard. If you look at the head in bright light you might find some light finger scuffs to the surface. This banjo has an 11-inch head, a maple neck and an ebony fingerboard with a frailing scoop. It has a simple rolled brass hoop as a tone ring. Note that Bart Reiter has retired so the number of his banjos available for sale is limited to used examples. Includes a nice padded gig bag.
