Details
This Taylor 712 was built 1996 and it’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. Over the years, the 700 series has been made with a variety of tonewoods and this version has a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood backs and sides, making it a cosmetically simpler 812. The scale length is 25 1/2”, which is longer than the 24 7/8” which is now standard on Taylor’s Grand Concert models.
Whether you measure the sound of a used guitar versus the cost, condition, or its size, this 712 is a clear winner. Great balanced tone, very little fret wear, and about the only surface wear is to the pickguard (where it belongs!). We didn't mention that it's very easy to play but since it's a Taylor that's pretty much a given. The original hardshell case is in equally clean condition.
