Details
This Fender Deluxe Strat Plus was made in 1994, the 40th Anniversary of the Stratocaster’s introduction. While it’s a standard model, it does feature a badge on the headstock and an engraved neck plate marking the occasion. It appears to have its original parts, including its trio of Lace Sensor pickups. (Blue-Neck, White-Middle and Red-Bridge) These pickups deliver a clear, articulate sound that offers a pleasing middle ground between classic vintage and high output modern pickups. The other features include Fender locking tuners, a LSR roller nut and a 6-Saddle Deluxe Fender Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo, which still has its arm. The body is alder with an ash veneered top and back. The maple fretboard has a 9.5” radius.
This guitar is in excellent structural condition and it does shows signs of having been played over the years. There is a conspicuous scratch on the output jack plate and a ding located not too far from the output jack on the side. There are also some nicks, dings and scratches here and there. The frets show some signs of wear but there is still lots of life in them and shows no immediate signs of needing a re-fret. Incudes the original hardshell case.
