Details
This Yamaha AE1200S was made in Japan in 1985. It’s in excellent structural condition and very good cosmetic condition. The frets are in good shape and only show a little wear. There are a handful of minor nicks and dings and the pickup rings have been replaced. (The originals are in the case.) This Yamaha draws visual inspiration from the classic Gibson L-5 CES but its solid spruce top and back are closer in style to the L-4CES. It measures 16 ¾” inches wide at the lower bout so it’s between those two classic guitars in size. It has a rosewood fingerboard, real pearl neck inlays, and its other parts all appear to be original. Includes the original hardshell case with the Yamaha badge.
