Considering it's 40 years old this mahogany The Paul Deluxe has survived in remarkably good shape. Original finish, tuners, bridge and Shawbucker pickups (see photos). Fret wear is minor, and the finger and pick scuffs where a pickguard would be are light (Gibson didn't give these models pick guards). Note the edge wear down by the output jack, and there are some small spots in the lacquer on the top that don't rub off but aren't deep or obnoxious. Nice shoulder-friendly weight of 7 3/4 lbs.
