Details
Ode's Style C was always considered one of the best deals in bluegrass banjos in the 1970s, as it had all the tone-producing goodies, and the walnut neck & resonator, of the Style D but was less expensive. This Style C shows almost no playing wear to the finish, and only minor fret wear in 1st position. Ode was of course owned by Baldwin, and this banjo was made less than a year before they ceased production. Now as when it was new, with its cast one-piece flange and cast bronze flat-head tone ring it's a great sounding classic 5-string. Comes with original case with stencil on the lid.
